The problem that we are tackling, is one of the largest unsolved issues out to still exist (frankly, it shouldn't even exist anymore). In an era of verticalized solutions, truly horizontal problem spaces are becoming rare. Whilst incredibly hard to solve, we are aiming to build a generational company that is redefining how trading companies interact with each other.

WHY WE DON'T HIRE PUBLICLY (ANYMORE)
We have stopped hiring through conventional channels and don't post our open roles publicly. Instead, we're hiring primarily through our team's network and through external referrals. Here's why:
THE PURSUIT OF OUTLIERS
We believe that to find outlier talent, you need an outlier hiring approach.
The challenges we're tackling at Procuros demand depth & problem-solving abilities far beyond the conventional. Standard hiring processes are designed to find standard talent—we need extraordinary minds to solve what many consider an "impossible" problem.
THE PUBLIC HIRING PARADOX
Traditional hiring creates a lose-lose situation for everyone involved. Candidates wade through impersonal application systems. Teams spend countless hours filtering applications. Both sides participate in high-pressure interviews that rarely reveal true potential. Even after clearing these hurdles, the risk of misalignment remains substantial.
We've experienced this firsthand. The overhead is immense, the signal-to-noise ratio is poor, and despite best efforts, we've had to part ways with talented people who simply weren't the right fit for our specific challenges.
What Actually Works
Data doesn't lie. Our network hires have consistently outperformed those sourced through conventional channels. They integrate faster into our existing team dynamics. They understand our mission more intuitively. They require less onboarding yet deliver exceptional results sooner.
We've built an incredibly high-performing small team. Now, we're focused on building around that core—adding people with proven chemistry and track records of excellence within similar problem spaces.
A Conscious Trade-off
We recognize this approach means we might miss exceptional individuals who don't happen to be in our extended network. However, we've made a conscious decision to optimize for efficiency and team cohesion during this critical phase of our growth.
This isn't about being exclusive—it's about being intentional with our most precious resources: time and attention.
